It’s no secret that Émile Nelligan suffered from early-onset dementia or schizophrenia. This is the aspect I wanted to illustrate with this creation. In an inverted reality, the sky is represented as an ocean, and the ocean is a starry sky.

It is meant as a reflection that reality is relative and depends on one’s perceptions.
